Notes for Aaron Taylor and Abigail Nutt

1768 Aaron Taylor, of Chesterfield, and Abigail Nutt were married on July 25 in New Jersey. [1] [2] [3]

1794 Aaron Taylor dated his will on June 13 in Philadelphia, naming his wife Abigail and several children. [4] [5]

1794, June 13. Taylor, Aaron, of the City of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; will of. Wife, Abigail, movable estate. Plantation in Chesterfield Twsp., Burlington Co., New Jersey, to be sold; wife, use of monies from sale for the education and support of children. Children, John, Ann, Susannah, Abigail, Lydia, Amy, Aaron and Levy, each an equal division of proceeds from real estate; also, the sons, £10 each, and the daughters, £3 each, when they respectively come of age. Executrix—wife, Abigail. Witnesses—Jabez Emory, Anthony Chardon and David Glading. Proved Feb. 16, 1796. (Burlington Co. Wills.) Lib. 35, p. 450; File 11697C.

Ann Taylor, daughter of Aaron and Abigail Taylor, worked a sampler for her grandmamy [Ann Ivins], recording names and dates related to Ann Ivins marriages and children. [6]

A biosketch reports that John Taylor, son of Aaron Taylor and Abigail Nutt Taylor, was born on August 6, 1770 in Hacklesstown, N. J. John Taylor was married to Mary Kirk. They had children named 2-Oliver Kirk Taylor, 1-Samuel Taylor, 3-Mary Taylor, and 4-Elizabeth Taylor. John Taylor died on March 24, 1826. [7]
