1671 William Coate, son of Marmaduke Coate and Edith Coate, was born on 6 July in Somerset, England. [1] [2]

1702 William Coate and Deborah Powell, of Greinton, Somersetshire, were married on March 8, at Polden Hill, Somerset, England. [3] [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

1702 William Coate of Grinton was prosecuted in the Exchequer for Tithes, at the Súit of Parson Beavan. [9]

1703 William Coate was again prosecuted in the Exchequer, at the Suit of the afore-said Parson Beavam. [10]

1703 William Coate was committed to Prison, but discharged some Time after by an Act of Grace. [11]

1703 W. Coate was returned Non est Inventus, altho' publickly at Home. The Falshood of which return being discovered, the Prosecution was dropt. [12]

1705 Marmaduke Coate, child of William Coate and Deborah Coate, was born on September 3. Marmaduke Coate, child of William Coate and Deborah Coate, was baptized in Bristol, Bristol, England. [13]

1748 William Coate died on January 21, 1747/48 . [14]
