1910 L L Barnhouse (age 45, born in Illinois), married for 23 years, lived in Spring Valley Twp, Shannon County, Missouri, in a household with Mary J Barnhouse (age 50) and Nellie Barnhouse (age 12). L L Barnhouse's father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother was born in South Carolina. L L Barnhouse's occupation was farmer, gen'l farmer, own account. L L Barnhouse's residence was on a farm, owned, mortgaged. [4]

Barnhouse and Dell Barnhouse, her husband, by their deed of trust, dated the 2d day of November. 1910, recorded November 7, 1910, in the office of the recorder of deeds of Shannon County. Missouri, conveyed to the undersigned in trust to secure the payment of the note and interest in said deed of trust particularly described the following described real estate situated in Shannon County, Missouri.
to-wit: The east halt of the north east quarter of Section three (3) in Township twenty-eight (2%) north of Range six (6) west, containing 80 acres more or less. And, whereas, said deed of trust provides that upon the failure to pay said note secured by this deed of trust tat the time the same hecomes due, and Whereas, default has been made in the payment of said note, Now, therefore. I, the undersigned, by virtue of the power and authority conferred upon me, and at the request of the legal holder between the hours of 9 o'clock in the forenoon and 5 o'clock in the afternoon of that day, at the door of the court-house in the city of Eminence, Shannon County Missouri, expose to sale and sell at public venue the real estate above described to the highest bidder for cash in hand, to satisfy the deed aforesaid and the costs of this trust.

1934 Lincoln Lodell Barnhouse, widowed, died on December 1, at age 70 in Kingsport, Sullivan County, Tennessee. Lincoln Lodell Barnhouse was buried on December 2, 1934. He had lived at Dale. He was a Laborer. [10] [11]
BARNHOUSE RITES TO BE CONDUCTED Services to Be At 2 p. m. Today for 72 Year Old Railroad Engineer Funeral services will be held today at 2:00 p. m. for Lincoln L. Barnhouse, 72, railway engineer, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Dave Bronson, 934 Dale street. Rev. W. P. Walker will have charge of services.
Mr. Barnhouse, a former resident of Kingsport, had been living with his daughter here for the past two years. He had been apparently in good health until Friday night. His death occurred yesterday at 12:30 a.m.
The Knights of Pythias will serve as pall bearers. Burial services will be conducted at the City cemetery. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Dave Bronson, of Kingsport.
1977 Nellie Irene Branson, spouse of David Greenlee Branson, died on July 1 in Church Hill, Hawkins County, Tennessee. She was born on May 25, 1897 in Tazewell County, Illinois, daughter of Lincoln Lodell Barnhouse. [13]
