1850 Thomas E Batty (age 25?) and Ann Beatty (age 22) lived in Mansfield, Burlington County, New Jersey. William Batty (age 66)[Thomas' father?] and Ann Lutes (age 60)[Ann's mother?] lived with them. Adam Lutes? (age 17), Sarah Johnson (age 18), and others lived with them. [1]
1860 Thomas E Beatty (age 35) and Ann C Beatty (age 32) lived in Hopewell, Mercer County, New Jersey with Hetchen L (male, age 9), William M (age 2), Samuel (age 1 month). Ann Lutes (age 70), widow, and others lived with them. [2]
1880 Thos E. Beatty (age 55, born in New Jersey, married) lived in Fieldsborough, Burlington County, New Jersey, in a household with Anne C Beatty (52), Samul G Beatty (20), and Kate A Beatty (13). Thos E. Beatty's parents were both born in New Jersey. Thos E. Beatty was a farmer. [3] [4]
1898 On October 10, Ann C Beatty wrote her will at Bordentown, Burlington County, New Jersey. The will was proved on May 21, 1900. The will named husband Thomas E Beatty and Annie Rice, a colored servant girl brought up by Ann Beatty since childhood. Children Fletcher L Beatty, William H Beatty, Samuel G Beatty, and Kate A Gibbs, wife of Wesley Gibbs, were named. William H Beatty was named executor. [5]
1898 A memorial stone for Thomas Earl Beatty (1825-1898) is at the First Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Ewing, Mercer County, New Jersey. The stone also names Kathryn Gibbs (1866-1954) and Wesley Gibbs (1854-1922) and Claire Gibbs Harter (1897-1997). [6] [7]
1900 Ann C Beatty died on April 28, 1900, near Bordentown, leaving heirs Fletcher L Beatty, William H Beatty, Samuel G Beatty, and Kate A Gibbs. The three sons lived in Bordentown and Kate Gibbs lived in Trenton. William H Beatty was the administrator. [8] [9]
1903 Son Samuel J. Beatty was shot by his wife in Trenton, New Jersey. He had lived at Crestline, Butler County, Ohio. [10] [11]
1954 Daughter Kathryn A. Gibbs, spouse of Wesley Gibbs, died on June 19 in Yardley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. She was born on August 20, 1866 in Bordentown, Burlington County, New Jersey, daughter of Thomas Earl Beatty and Ann C Beatty. [12]
1922 Wesley Gibbs Sr, spouse of Kathryn A Gibbs, died on May 25 in Yardley, Bucks County, Pennsylvania. He was born on October 20, 1853 in Trenton, Mercer County, New Jersey. [13]
