1784 Joseph F Taylor, child of Daniel Taylor and Hannah Taylor, was born on July 13, 1784 in Burlington County, New Jersey. [1]

1808 William Taylor of Chesterfield, son of Daniel and Hannah Taylor, married Ann Holloway, daughter of Samuel and Miriam on February 4. Witnessed by Hannah Taylor, Hannah Taylor Jr, Samuel Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Joseph F. Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Nathan Taylor, and many others. [2]

1808 William Taylor and Joseph P. Taylor, as tenants in common, purchased land from Jacob Middleton on August 9. Joseph and wife Sarah then sold their share to William. The land was in in the Township of Upper Freehold. [3]

Whereas Jacob Middleton and Hannah his wife, in and by a certain deed or instrument of writing from under their and seals bearing date the ninth day of August eighteen hundred and eight, did grant bargain, sell and convey unto William Taylor and Joseph P. Taylor, as tenants in common and to their heirs and assigns, a certain parcel or lot of land situate in the Town ship of Upper Freehold aforesaid, Beginning at a stone standing eleven links the northwesterly corner of said house, in a line north west from said corner, thence said stone, easterly one chain and seventy five links to a stone standing in the of a ditch running under the foot of the westerly bank of Cattail Brook and made mouth of a ditch leading through the meadow to said brook, thence along said northeasterly one chain and fifty links to the middle of said brook on Jacob Kendline, now Jacob Fisher's line, thence down said brook, the several courses thereof four chains and fifty links to a ditch, leading from a spring issuing from under a Wild Tree, thence up said ditch westerly, one chains and fifty links to said spring, thence westerly fifty five links to a stone for a corner, thence westerly two chains and seventy links to the place of beginning. Containing one acre and one quarter and twenty perches be the same more or less Now reference being had to the aforesaid deed or strument of writing the same will more fully and at large appear And Whereas Joseph F. Taylor and Sarah his wife, in and by a certain deed or instrument of writing from and their hands and seals bearing date the thirtieth day of March eighteen hundred and (ten ?) did grant, bargain, sell and forever quit claim unto the aforesaid William Taylor his and assigns, the one half of the aforesaid described property reference being had to the aforesaid deed or instrument will more fully and at large appear.

1809 Joseph Freeman Taylor, of UpperFreehold, Monmouth County, son of Hannah and Daniel Taylor of Burlington (deceased), married Sarah Carslake on April 12, 1809 at Mansfield Twp, Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Hannah Taylor, William Taylor, Nathan Taylor, Daniel Taylor, Anthony Taylor, Hannah Taylor, Ann Taylor, Lucy Taylor, Elizabeth Taylor, and many others. [4]

1818 William Taylor and wife Ann of Upper Freehold got a mortgage for land from Joseph F Taylor of Nottingham. The land was described in a deed dated 1808 from Jacob Middleton. [5]

1823 Joseph F Taylor, Sarah Taylor [perhaps Joseph's wife], and Hannah Taylor [perhaps Joseph's widowed mother] sold land to Thomas Bellanger on April 5 by deed 2-499. [6]

1826 A certificate from Chesterfield was recommended at the Upper Springfield meeting for Joseph F. Taylor, Sarah C Taylor, and their minor children Sarah C, Elizabeth, and William C Taylor on March 8. [7]

1830 Joseph F Taylor (age 40-49) lived in Mansfield, Burlington, New Jersey in a household with Males: one (age 10-14, ?) and one (age 15-19, William?) and Females: one (age 15-19, Elizabeth?) and one (age 20-29, Sarah C?). [8]

1836 Elizabeth Taylor, daughter of Joseph F Taylor and Sarah (deceased), married Charles Wright, son of William and Rebecca Wright, at Mansfield Twp, Burlington County on January 14. Witnessed by Joseph Taylor, William E Taylor, several Carslake family members, several Wright family members, and many others. [9]

1840 Joseph Taylor (age 60-70) lived in Mansfield, Burlington, New Jersey in a household with a female (age 50-60, ?). Nearby listings were similar to the 1830 census record. [10]

1842 William C. Taylor, of Mansfield, son of Joseph F Taylor and Sarah (she being deceased), married Emily Shreve, daughter of Caleb and Martha, on January 12, 1842 at Mansfield. Witnessed by many, including Charles and Elizabeth Wright, Middleton Carslake, but not by anyone named Taylor. [11]

1850 Joseph Taylor, age 66, born in New Jersey, lived in Upper Penns Neck, Salem County, New Jersey, in a household with Elizabeth Taylor (age 61), Sarah Taylor (age 13), and William Adams (age 10). [12]

1860 Joseph F Taylor (age 75, born in New Jersey) lived in Upper Penns Neck, Salem County, New Jersey, in a household with Elizabeth Taylor (70), and Ellen Blake (16). Joseph F Taylor was a farmer. [13]

1860 Joseph F Taylor, age 75, born in New Jersey, lived in Upper Penns Neck, Salem County, New Jersey, in a household with Elizabeth Taylor (age 70), and Ellen Blake (age 16). [14]
