Edward P. Clements, Aged 85 Years, Expires After Eating Hearty Meal … Five sudden deaths were investigated by Coroner Robert G. Schroeder over Sunday, that of Edward P. Clements 85 years old, a retired teamster, of 323 Arch street. …

The coroner attributed the death of Mr. Clement to apoplexy. After eating a heart dinner Saturday at a noon he decided to take a nap. He went upstairs and laid across a bed. When his wife went up several hours later she spoke to him and receiving no response, summoned medical aid. It was found the aged man was beyond recall. He was formerly a prosperous teamster. He is survived by a widow, Mrs. Ruth Anna Clements and two sons, John Clements, a former member of the Fire Department, now an inspector of the Highway Department, and William H.
