1794 Catherine Winebrenner's birthdate has been reported as 1 May.

1850 David Mohn (age 65, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Noble, Noble County, Indiana with Catherine Mohn (age 55), Adaline Mohn (age 19), Rebecca Mohn (age 15), and Jacob Mohn (age 12). The three children were born in Ohio. [2] David Mohn Jr (age 29, born Ohio) and Harriett (age 22, born Ohio) were listed adjacent. Households of David, Andrew, and John Winebrenner were nearby.

1856 Daniel Mohn died on November 25 and was buried at Sanford Cemetery, Burr Oak, Noble County, Indiana. [3] [4]

1856 Catherine Winebrenner Mohn died on December 1 and was buried at Sanford Cemetery, Burr Oak, Noble County, Indiana. [5] [6]

1862 Jacob Mohn died on April 6 in Shiloh Battlefield, Hardin County, Tennessee. He was born on June 6, 1810 in Stark County, Ohio, son of Daniel Mohn and Catherine Mohn. [7]

1884 Rebecca Mohn Gaff died on July 30 and was buried at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Merriam, Noble County, Indiana. Rebecca Mohn Gaff was born on February 19, 1835. [8] [9]

1900 Mary Gingrich, spouse of John Gingrich, died on December 25 in Manistee County, Michigan. She was born on July 24, 1823 in Pennsylvania, daughter of Daniel Mohn and Catherine Mohn. [10] [11]

Research Notes:

Perhaps Daniel David Mohn was a brother of John Moon. Both had daughters Adeline and Rebecca.

1850 John Moon (age 61, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Plain Twp, Wayne County, Ohio, in a household with Elizabeth Moon (60), Rebecca Moon (17), Cornelius Moon (13), Adaline Moon (11), William Moon (30), and Besley McAllaster (8). John Moon was a farmer. [12]

1866 John Moon, spouse of Elizabeth Moon, died on July 24. He was born on September 21, 1791. [13]

Notes for Jacob Mohn, reportedly born sometime between 1815 and 1827, according to census records. Perhaps son Jacob or a brother.

1850 Jacob Moon (age 23, born in Ohio) lived in Plain Twp, Wayne County, Ohio, in a household with Ellen Moon (23), Sarah A Moon (7), Elizabeth Moon (5), Jefferson Moon (5), and William Moon (2). Jacob Moon was a carpenter. [14] Age 23 seems young for the parents, given the ages of the children.

1860 Jacob Mohn (age 45, born in Ohio) lived in Noble, Noble County, Indiana, in a household with Ellen Mohn (45), Sarah Mohn (19), Elizabeth Mohn (17), Jefferson Mohn (15), William Mohn (12), Martha Mohn (8), and Catharine Mohn (5). Jacob Mohn was a carpenter. [15]

1862 Jacob Mahn died on April 6 in Shiloh, Tennessee. [16] [17] [18] [19]

1862 Jacob Mohn died on April 6 in Shiloh Battlefield, Hardin County, Tennessee of America. His age at death is hard to read (51y 10m or 31y 10m?). The findagrave memorial reports that he was a son of Daniel Mohn and Catherine Mohn. [20]

1863 Ellen Mohn, widow of Jacob Mohn, received a pension for his service in 44 Indiana Infantry. [21]

1890 C Mohn and Wm L Addis were married on March 20 in Merriam, Indiana. C Mohn, daughter of Jacob Mohn and Ellen Higgenbarger, was born in Indiana. [22]

1904 Ellen Mohn, spouse of Jacob Mohn, died on January 27. She was born on September 24, 1818. [23]

1929 Jefferson Mohn, widowed, spouse of Sarah Mohn, died on April 18, at age 83 in Churubusco, Whitley County, Indiana. He was born on July 30, 1845 in Ohio City, son of Jacob Mohn and Ellen Hagenberger. [24]
