1560/61 The will of Thomas Tomlin [3] of St Peter in Thanet, written March 22, suggests that he was the son of William. He had a mother named Elizabeth, a deceased brother, and surviving brothers Peter and Thomas. [4]
Thomas requested burial by his deceased brother in the church yard of St Peter. The 1560 will of Richard Tomlin of St Peter in Thanet, written April 8 and proved June 13, 1560, requested burial there.
Thomas provided for his mother Elizabethe Sprackling, "Item I gyve and bequeth to my brother Rycharde Noble for finding of my mother Elizabeth Spracklinge xl s in monnye and a Kowe, and also xxx s to be payd unto hym at the feaste of S Michaell next ensuing, more over I gyve out of my Tent' and lands xx s yerlye as longe as mye sayde mother liveth for the Receipt and answerynge of all and singuler wt the premisses I will the sayde Richarde Noble to be bounde unto myne exexutor underwritten in an obligacon of xx li And the xiij busshelles of wheat wch he oweth me I frelye forgyve hym. Thomas bequeathed to his brothers Peter and Thomas and made them the residual heirs of his land in case neither of his children (Mildred and Richard) survived and had heirs.
1569 "Elizabeth Sprackling was buried the xv of Aprill" in St. Peter in Thanet, Kent. [5] [6]
