"Joseph moved from Lancaster, Pa to the Leitersburg district, near Hagerstown, Md, in 1787. Then in 1795 he moved into German Valley, a beautiful valley about 3 miles NE of Shirleysburg in Huntingdon County, Pa. Mary and Joseph had 4 children and Elizabeth and Joseph had 12 children. Joseph and Mary are both buried in Huntingdon County, Pa, where they resided." Their children were Anna, Mary Maria, Barbara, and Eva Long. Joseph's name is also reported as Schnebeli. [1]
