1807 Claiborne Saunders was named as a surveyor in Franklin County. [5]
1810 The house of Claiborne Saunders in Franklin County was cited in a summons by the sheriff. [6]
1811 A replacement was named for Clayborne Saunders as surveyor in Franklin County. [7]
1818 Franklin County court records of the August term stated "Philemon Saunders & Benj Saunders ad -- The Deft Benjamin Saunders and Claiborne Saunders not being Inhabitants of this State and order of publication is made to appear and answer the the Complainants Bill on the first monday in November next." [8]
Claiborne Woodward Saunders owned land in the Huntsville Meridian (Northern Part of Alabama). [9]
1819 Claiborne Woodward Saunders, spouse of Betsy Saunders, died in October in Huntsville, Madison County, Alabama. He was born on October 17, 1755 in Albemarle County, Virginia, son of Julius Saunders and Jemima Saunders. [10]
