There is some uncertainty distinguishing Joseph Good (GC365) son of Samuel [10] versus Joseph Good (GC3241) possibly a son of Joseph (son of Henry). Which one married Barbara Horst? We show Joseph, son of Samuel, as the spouse of Barbara Horst. Jane Evans Best shows the spouse of Barbara Horst as Joseph son of Joseph (son of Henry). [11] Our notes for Joseph (son of Henry) cite a deed naming all of the heirs of Joseph (son of Henry) and no son named Joseph is listed. Jane Best reports 1795-1842 as the birth-death dates for Joseph Good (son of Henry). These dates are consistent with both Barbara Horst Good and Joseph Good being deceased at the time of the 1853 deed among the heirs of Jacob Horst's estate and we suspect they are the dates for Joseph, spouse of Barbara Horst Good. Some researchers report the findagrave for Joseph Good (1795-1858) [12] as pertaining to Joseph, spouse of Barbara Horst Good, but this is inconsistent with the 1853 deed. For which Joseph Good is this findagrave?
1795 Joseph Good, son of Samuel and Mary Good, was born on March 4. [13] [14]
1858 Joseph Good died on December 12, at age 63y 9m 8d, and was buried at Pine Grove Mennonite Cemetery, Bowmansville, Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. [15]
