1798 Rebecca Platt of New Hanover and Daniel Toy of Northampton were married on January 25 by a deacon of the Methodist church in Burlington County, New Jersey. Witnessed by Rhoda Rogers, Daniel Ostall and W.B. Budd. [1] [2]
1800 Mahlon Budd, Samuel Mason and others brought suit against Daniel Toy regarding a tract of land supposedly held by Daniel Toy and wife Rebecca. Wife Rebecca had claimed right of dower to the land. The deal failed and Daniel Toy declared insolvency. Everyone was unhappy. [3]
A Toy genealogy reported that Daniel Toy, born February 15, 1766, was a son of Daniel Toy and Sarah Bennett. [4] [5] [6]
The birth of Daniel Toy was registered at St Mary's church in Burlington. [7]
