1789 At the November term of the Burlington County Orphans Court, Isaac Ivins petitioned to be appointed guardian of his minor children under the age of fourteen: Barzillai, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret, and Ann Ivins. He was appointed guardian until they achieved age 14 upon posting of bond. [1]
1791 The account of the estate of Isaac Ivins [married to Mary Hopkins] named his 32 living children and grand-children, including son, Isaac Ivins, and his grand-children: Barzillai, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret, and Ann as children of Isaac. The documents named heirs widow Elizabeth and children Jonathan Chatten, Joshua Hewitt and Elizabeth his wife, Charly W Carson? and wife Mary, Clark Chatten and Barsillai Chatten.
