Notes for Clark Chatten and Elizabeth Ivins

1789 At the November term of the Burlington County Orphans Court, Isaac Ivins petitioned to be appointed guardian of his minor children under the age of fourteen: Barzillai, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret, and Ann Ivins. He was appointed guardian until they achieved age 14 upon posting of bond. [1]

1791 The account of the estate of Isaac Ivins [married to Mary Hopkins] named his 32 living children and grand-children, including son, Isaac Ivins, and his grand-children: Barzillai, Thomas, Elizabeth, Mary, Margaret, and Ann as children of Isaac. 1840 Clark Chalan lived in Quincy Twp, Adams County, Illinois in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (Under 5). [3]

1848 The records for the estate of Clark Chatten were filed in Adams County, Illinois. The documents named heirs widow Elizabeth and children Jonathan Chatten, Joshua Hewitt and Elizabeth his wife, Charly W Carson? and wife Mary, Clark Chatten and Barsillai Chatten. Also minor children James and Mary Chatten. [4] [5]

1850 Elizabeth Chattan (born in New Jersey) lived in Quincy Ward 2, Adams County, Illinois, in a household with Barzilia T Chattan (37), Elizabeth Chattan (29), Mary E Chattan (8), William C Chattan (7), Enoch R Chattan (4), Alfred Chattan (2), Sarah Stone (14), Mary J Stone (20), Jane M Miller (12), and Geo H Miller (10).
