1825 Henry Shenk dated his will on March 13 in Washington County, Maryland. The will was proved on January 31, 1827. The will named unmarried daughter Barbara and sons Jacob, Henry, Christian, David, and Michael. Son Jacob was unmarried. Jacob and Henry were named executors. Specific properties were named including land purchased from Fiery and Myers. The will was written in German and an English translation was recorded. [5]
