Peter Burkholder might have died in 1799 and was buried near his brother, Christian. However, further research by Davis suggests that this Peter died in Rockingham County, Virginia 1813/1816, and a second Peter Burkholder, who died in 1799, was not the brother of Christian Burkholder next to whom this second Peter was buried. 1798 Margaret Huber Burkholder died in 1798. [4] Margaret was buried in Treslers Church, Virginia. [5]
1831 Daughter Elizabeth Breneman, spouse of Melchior Brenneman, died on September 28 in Rockingham County, Virginia. She was born on September 29, 1777 in Dale Enterprise, Rockingham County, Virginia, daughter of Margaret Burkholder. [6]
