1809 On 5 December, Eve Baker, widow of Jacob Baker, petitioned the York County Orphans' Court to appoint Conrad Krow [her brother-in-law] as guardian of her orphaned children: John, Jacob, Henry, Anna Mary, Regina, and Lydia. Adam Baker, age 14, son of Jacob Baker, deceased, petitioned that Conrad Krow be his guardian. [12]

1819 Eve, wife of Jacob Baker was named in the will of her father, Adam Hoffman. The will of Adam Hoffman, dated 1819 in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania reported the names and spouses of the children listed here. Four sons included Henry, John, Adam, and Michael. Son John had a son Adam. Daughter Elisabeth wife of John Rudisell was deceased. Catherine was the widow of George Gantz. Eve was married to Jacob Baker. Magdalena was married to Henry Thoman. Christina was married to Charles Wildasin. Barbara was married to Conrad Kroh. Mary was married to Peter Haks. The will was executed by Henry Thoman and John Rudisell Jr. and was witnessed by Jacob Wildasin and Henry Ebersolt. 1820 Widow Baker lived in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (10 thru 15); and females: 1 (16 thru 25) and 1 (45 and over). [30]

1821 John Becker inherited a plantation in Shrewsbury Twp called the "Lower Place" by will of his father Jacob Becker, dated January 6, 1808. He was to pay the other children of Jacob Baker for their shares. John Becker and Adam Becker posted bond to the Orphans Court of York County on February 13. [31]

1821 The heirs of Jacob Baker were parties to a deed. Mary Baker, Rosanna/Rosina Baker, and Conrad Kroh guardian of Lydia, Jacob, and Henry, all of Shrewsbury township, York county, released and quit claimed Adam Baker for the estate. The deed was dated July 25. [32]

1821 Adam Baker sold land to John Baker from the estate of their father Jacob Baker. Jacob's will was dated January 6, 1808. The deed was dated September 30, 1821. [33]

1822-1824 John Baker was taxed for 160+29+39 acres in Codorus Twp, York County, Pennsylvania. [34] [35] [36]

1830 Eve Baker (widow) and Henry and wife Mary Baker sold land to Adam Henry on March 12, all of Shrewsbury township. The land had belonged to Jacob Baker. Adjacent lands were owned by Jacob Bowser, Jacob Hanawalt, John Miller, Peter Koller, and Peter Free. [37]

1830 Jacob Baker lived in Shrewsbury Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (Under 5) and 1 (30 thru 39). [38]

1830 Adam Baker lived in Hellam Twp, York County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (Under 5), 3 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), and 1 (30 thru 39); and females: 2 (Under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (10 thru 14), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (30 thru 39). [39]

1846 A deed summarized seizure of land in Hopewell township, York county by the sheriff. The land was from the estate of Michael Klinefelter. Michael Spangler had a debt. Jacob Bortner lived on the land and was to pay money to Adam Becker and wife Susanna (daughter of Michael Klinefelter). [43]
