1782 Henry [Baltzly], son of Henry and Christine Palseli (Baltzly), was born on July 1. Henry was baptized on September 23, with sponsors, grandparents, Frederick and Marie Elizabeth Wolff, at the Abbotstown Reformed Church. [1] [2]

1802 Henry Balsley [father of this Henry] was taxed for 200 acres in Menallen Twp, Adams County. [3] Henry Balsley was taxed as a single man. He had not been listed before. Perhaps he had recently turned age 21. [4]

1807 Margretha Balzly was baptized on October 4, 1807 in Lutheran and Reformed Congregations, Arendtsville, Adams County, Pennsylvania, with sponsor H. Steinauer. Margretha Balzly was born on September 6, 1807, child of Henry Balzly and Catharina Balzly.

1811 Henry Balsley was taxed for 230 acres in Menallen Twp, Adams County. Until this year, Widow Baltzzley had been taxed. [7]

1812 Henry Baltzley was in Captain Zollinger's Company, York County, Pennsylvania. [8]

1814 Henry Baltzly [Balsley], farmer, was listed on the septennial census for Antrim Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. [9]

1821 Henry Balsley, farmer, was listed on the septennial census for Antrim Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. [10]

1823 Henry Balsley died on October 6 at Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Henry Balsley was born on July 1, 1782. [11] [12]

1823 Letters of administration were issued for the estate of Henry Balsley on November 12 to Simon Rupely. Sureties were with John Tole and Jacob Wonderlich. [13]

1826 Simon Rupley presented his account with balance $720.83. [14]

1827? Simon Rupely of Antrim Twp was the guardian for the estates of Elisabeth, John, Sarah, Susanna, and George Baltzly, minor children under age 14 of Henry Baltzly. [15]

1840 Catharine Battzly lived in Antrim Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania in a household with males: 1 (Under 5), 1 (5 thru 9), 1 (15 thru 19), and 1 (20 thru 29); and females: 1 (30 thru 39) and 1 (50 thru 59). [16]

1850 Catherine Baltzley (age 65, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Antrim Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with Mary Baltzley (35), and John Baltzley (33). [17]

1860 Catharan Balsly (age 78, born in Pennsylvania) lived in Antrim Twp, Franklin County, Pennsylvania, in a household with John Balsly (45), and Mary Balsly (40). [18]

1863 Catherine Kehl Snyder Balsley died on January 11 and was buried at Green Hill Cemetery, Waynesboro, Franklin County, Pennsylvania. Catherine Kehl Snyder Balsley was born in 1784. [19] [20]

Aged 79 years.
