The latter was married there to Anna Burkholder, and afterward moved to Indiana, about 1851, and spent two years in Elkhart County. They next took up their abode in Grundy County, Ill., where they made a farm, reared their family and resided until their respective deaths. Samuel M. Wenger grew to manhood in Illinois, and remained with his father until the latter's death, his time being employed in farming and running a threshing machine. …
