There are conflicting potential reports about the death of Amy Rickey. Her will, dated 1833 with probate on 7 May, 1849, seems most definitive.
1833 The estate of Amey Rickey of Nottingham, Mercer County, New Jersey was administered. The will was dated March 22, 1833. The will was proved on May 7, 1849 in Mercer County, New Jersey. The will named Ann Abbott (Daughter), Susan Abbott (Granddaughter), Joseph Gardner (Grandson), Amey Ann Abbott (Granddaughter) and Timothy Abbott (Grandson). [15]
