A cluster of self-propelled particles

Economies, the brain, ecosystems, social networks, political systems, the Internet. All those systems, for which many interacting individuals produce collective behaviors that exceed and even transcend the capabilities of the constituent parts, are example of Complex Systems.


The study of those hard and crucial problems often require multidisciplinary knowledge and cross-field colaborations. In this mini-conference, we will bring together students and experts from a variety of fields to discuss issues related to complexity and incentivizing discussions...

Registration

There is no fee for registration but breakfast, coffee break and lunch will be provided only for registered participants. If you wish to register but are not submitting an abstract, send an email to csaaw-organizers.at.umich.dot.edu with the subject "MCMC Registration" with your full name and department.
