A Migration to the North: History and Prevalence
Note: Most of the articles on baseball considered Latinos is when a player from a Latin American country lived in the U.S. Since most of the players immigrated to the U.S. , Latin, Latino, and Latin American are used interchangeably. However, the authors by no mean want to enhance the confusion of Latin Americans with U.S. born Latinos. The section on discrimination is the most applicable to a population born in the U.S. with Latin American ancestry.
Also, discrimination and history should be one topic, but have been split up because of the enormous amount of subject matter. Readers are urged to visit both parts to get the complete story of past, present, and future.
