Personally, I'd say we should stay away from JavaScript, mainly
because a lot of people use Lynx (I know I do) when in the shell, or
they use non-JS "alternative" browsers like Konqueror or whatnot.
Best not to make the site JS-dependent.

I generally do form validation within PHP anyway, so that wouldn't be needed.

The MySQL/PHP bit sounds great, though. I've barely wet my ankles
with MySQL. So again, the more, the merrier. :-)
