Yes, this is the problem with binary rpms vs source. rpm=no control,
get what you are given. where as source=unlimited control, build what
you like!

There is no option for this in any rpm because it is a compile time option.

Anyway, get the source, and the change needs to be made in the
makefile for linux, which is in
netatalk-1.4b2+asunxxx/sys/linux/Makefile

add
DEFS= -DUSE_FLOCK_LOCKS
and recompile.

done.
