Are the files actually corrupted? A while back a user reported that
anytime he tried to copy an EPS file to the server using ASIP, it would
disconnect. If there is actual corruption of the files, what are the
circumstances? Does it happen when the file is copied to or from the
server? Is it repeatable?
I've had a possibly related problem with printing from Freehand. If I try
to print in color a document with an embedded jpeg image through papd, the
job will be truncated somewhere in the middle of the binary code
representing the image, and always at the same spot.
Could this point to a problem with the underlying transport layer code in
netatalk?
I hope to debug this further as my time permits.
Andy
