I'll look into it, but basically its tcp afp, 1.4b/2.1.3.
I can do this:
On one Macintosh make an alias of a file off my NT server.
Store that alias three directories deep.
open that directory on another Macintosh.
double click on the alias,
and it will prompt me to login to the NT Server.
Does that answer your wishes?
If it does, I will try to send you a copy of my confs, but I really just
followed the obvious. Its a guest only volume.
