well i compiled on a test machine asun-39 with -DUSE_FLOCK_LOCKS
and f***ing q 4.11 does still weird things
the problem is on the mac side, afaik
i did a q session on my own,
opened worked closed and most of the time in the second doc. q didn't
close its file handles (i closed the doc, then looked on the mac with a
tool called open-file-something and at last the last (alphabetical)
picture of the doc. showed up as currently open)
