Hello,

You don't need atalkd if you want to use only AS over IP and your users
don't complain about not seeing stuff in the chooser. However, if you
want printing through PAP, then you have to run atalkd. I think that
there's an LPR implementation on Mac, but not sure for which Macos
release and how does it perform.
