This is a link to apple's page for Open Transport 2.6
install this on any G4 or slot-loading iMac running OS8.6 or OS9
it will also install on any Mac running OS9.
This update helped some of the issues I was having with our G4s and newer
slot-loading iMacs.
You could also get the AppleShare client update(3.8.6) but, the AppleShare
clients newer than 3.8.3 use aliases for autologin, so you will not be able
to use any of the "mount at startup" options.
I hope Adrian's next netatalk update has the alias support added.
AppleShare Client 3.8.3 seems to work well...for now

Yes, 2.1.4b37 is the solution to the G4 problem, and the Quark 4.1
-199 "Preview" issue when saving.
