Yes, no problem. We use our NIC's for Samba and netatalk. It's just a
protocol bind to a NIC and you can bind as lot of protocols as you like,
Novell for example also.

Sorry, don't know. But I think that the EtherTalk protocol try to manage
as much as possible on it's own.

Maybe if you just define the NIC's in the "atalkd.conf" in the way to
declare only one card with zone informations like:

eth1 -router -phase 2 -net 2000 -addr 2000.1 -zone "Intranet"
eth0 -phase 2

- or just leave the eth0 -

eth1 -router -phase 2 -net 2000 -addr 2000.1 -zone "Intranet"

I have *not* tried it yet.
