This is the way to set up a hosts file which resides in the preferences
folder...

booboo CNAME booboo.mydomain.com
booboo.mydomain.com A 192.168.1.100

horace CNAME horace.mydomain.com
horace.mydomain.com A 192.168.1.44

atlantis CNAME atlantis.mydomain.com
