well, i understand that all that is necessary for the autstart worms to
work is to be on a mac volume mounted on a mac - i've had worms spread
via netware and netatalk volumes on intel and sparc hardware,
respectively. in any case it's only few minutes' work that can save an
age of misery down the road.
