Hi,
Last week when I tried to run a IP-only server on Solaris x86 2.5.1
(without the kernel module for DDP), I had a similar message. In my
case, I had the 'unexpectedly..' message when I tried to mount folders,
and didn't go any further.
After glancing at the code, I solved it by starting afpd with '-D'.
'-noddp' in afpd.conf didn't work.
This was with pre-asun2.1.0-12.tar.gz. I haven't yet tried later
versions.
