Subject: [netatalk-admins] Connection Unexpectedly Broke ???

Macintosh Clients (MacOS 8) give the above message when I attempt to log
them into a RedHat 5.1 Linux Box. If I Force a EtherTalk connection the
Mac will hang until a force quit of the chooser is done. Loging on the
Linux Box reports -
afpd[309]: server_child[1] 3854 done
afpd[3855]: ASIP session:548(1) from 192.168.1.254:2049(2)
afod[309]: server_child{1] 3855 exited 1
Any Ideas How to fix this?
Other details -
RedHat has been updated to newest packages
Not Using Shadow Passowrds
Using netatalk version 1.42b
Printing works great
Only one Ethernet Card
