[netatalk-admins] afpd:setdirowner:chown -1/0 .AppleDouble/.Parent

Using vanilla 1.4b2 with Mac OS8 patch.

I am getting the following in /var/adm/debug

afpd[???]:setdirowner:chown -1/0 .AppleDouble/.Parent: Operation not permitted

I cannot understand why afpd is trying to set the directory's group to root.
All users belong to group "user" (100)

On experimenting, it seems this happens when a user deletes a file or
folder to the trash for the first time in a session.

Anyone experienced something similar? Is there something that I should be doing
to eliminate this?

Thanks.
