
When training the abdominals, is it more beneficial to do a traditional sit-up than a sit-up on an exercise ball? It is interesting because the trunk is the core of the body; thus, through strengthening the abdominals one strengthens the core of the body. Abdominal muscles are also important in postural and body support issues.
