We are comparing the grand jete (with develope) and the saux de chat (without the develope). Our question is which leap will give us an optimal split in the air. (Hip angle closer to 180 degrees.) The three of us are dancers and we are interested in how far these two different jetes travel and how high each will get a subject in the air. This is a beneficial study because of aesthetic and choreographic reasons.
