Our question is to determine the effects of forward and backward leg raises on the support leg. This project is interesting because the movements, in theory, are almost identical, but in practice produce extremely different results. These two motions produce different positions of the trunk and support leg due to differences in range of motion of the hip, and may be used to determine less stressful motions and improve balance in exercise routines.
