Venus Transit Photos, June 5/6, 2012

A Venus Transit takes place when Venus is directly between the Earth and the Sun. This is a rare occurrence, the last two Venus Transits were on June 8, 2004 and on June 5, 2012. If you missed these transits, the next transit will be in the year 2117. More information can about the Venus Transit be found at http://www.transitofvenus.org/

There were several events where the public could view the Venus Transit in the Ann Arbor area. The following are links to photographs from these events.
