The U-M's Computing Environment (UMCE) is a collection of
computing services that are available to all
faculty, staff, and students at the University of Michigan.
Some of the new computing services are available at no cost to users;
others are being charged for, most by subscription.
Select the following link to go directly to the page that give you
information about the service packages and their prices. This will allow you
to subscribe to UMCE services provided by the Information Technology
Division (ITD).

What are UMCE subscription services?
A
subscription
provides access to a service that you can access as often as you like.
Subscription services automatically bill your computing account once
a month when you subscribe to the service.
Using UMCE subscription services, you can:

Exchange electronic mail with colleagues on and off campus

Run statistical analyses, software provided by ITD, or programs that you write

Share your data with colleagues on and off campus

Participate in conferences and Usenet news groups

If you subscribe to a package of services, you will be billed for
each of the component services.
