I have not arrogance 
   enough
to live in Amber

Once I was great
It matters not - 
      That life was deception

Substance among shadow,
I earned nothing
but homeless then as now,
I still walked free

Child among giants,
tempted here to die

My enemies were chosen well 
and roughfound allies now
destroy my pride
