Ishmael's log, Chapter 123

Ishmael remembers that he is supposed to teach the boys...wants to return to Amber, but remembers that he doesn't have a Trump of Amber!
Laughter takes him back to Amber, then leaves.

Ishmael pisses in Ariana's Wheaties by telling her that she's not going to Chaos. She argues that she is.
Ishmael shrugs her off, then Trumps Jalana and tells her that her mommy is going to go fight the war in Chaos and, "Well...I lost *my* mommy in Chaos..."
When Ariana finds out, she COMPLETELY overreacts (in Ishmael's opinion). She bursts into his studio and tells him that he is to have no further contact with her children. He shrugs. She leaves.
Ishmael Trumps Vincent and tells him that Ariana has forbidden any further contact between them. He asks Vincent to make him a Trump of Amber.
Vincent delivers the Trump, obeying his mother and not speaking to Ishmael. Ishmael thanks the "Trump Faerie."
That night, Ishmael has a series of nightmares about Ariana killing him.
He tries to make it more enjoyable by imagining that Ariana is naked, and feels a sharp pain in his neck.

Freed from all tutoring obligations, Ishmael goes to Foil.
Laughter insists that he has to learn to play chess. Sitting still that long damn near makes Ishmael go crazy. Eventually, he gets the hang of it.
Ishmael asks Laughter to be "his date" for the Coronation. She agrees. It sort of slips his mind that she already has two husbands. OOPS!
Ishmael begins having homoerotic dreams.
