I. A Restful Day

1. Slept - breakfast to late lunch - catching up
2. Nap interrupted by Ronan
   1. He wanted info. on Maris
      1. Where she's at
      2. More about the "revolution"
      3. He didn't know her name
      4. Gave him vague truths - I didn't know, mostly
   2. Asked me to pass anything about her/revolution to him, if I should find anything out.
3. Spent the afternoon collecting demon summoning components
4. Somber dinner with announcements
   1. Foster and Laughter to walk the Pattern
   2. Hunt for Brand continues
   3. All the social calendar events not canceled
   4. Random fills me in on Foster, Laughter, Brand situation
5. Evening spent studying the book - then slept well

II. Demon

1. Summoned an "info" demon in the morning
2. Asked where Amber's Trumps were kept
   1. Too slow - it dug a 6" hole in the floor
   2. They're in the Library, it answers
3. Banished it
4. Spent afternoon cementing the hole in my floor

III. Busy night

1. Unlocked case in Library with Trumps in it - using gloves
   1. Examined one deck thoroughly - using gloves
   2. Replaced deck back exactly
   3. Relocked case - left

Saturday, August 26, 2994

2. Summoned at midnight
   1. Brand is caught
   2. He is declared a traitor by Nicholas
   3. Nimue shows up
      1. Pattern mistress?
      2. Stops Brand's execution
   4. Brand tortured by those he harmed
      1. Ariana is first, cuts off his penis
      2. Fiona psychically fries his mind
         (1) Way cool trick!
         (2) Sorta painful to Meander and I
      3. Some decline to punish Brand
   5. Brand's mind is wiped
   6. His Pattern is permanently removed
   7. Clarissa takes charge of him
   8. Nicholas warns against further traitorous activities
