My Remarkable Confirmation Experience with Falun Dafa

My name is Rita Black and I am 60 years "young". I am from the Brisbane group. I would like to tell you how I found Falun Dafa and how it has changed my life and brought purpose and focus into every aspect of my life.

My partner Grahame and I had been shown some Chigong movements by a practising Chinese medicine Doctor, who also has a Feng Shui business. We were anxious to learn more Chigong, but his lessons were $15.00 per lesson, to be shown one or two movements each week (or we could purchase expensive videos). As we both wanted to participate, this would have been an outlay of $30.00 per week and we were unable to afford this.

I decided to look for a free Tai Chi group as I had learned some Tai Chi many years ago and very much enjoyed it.

I asked one of our Chinese friends if he knew of a group. He directed me to a nearby park and arranged to meet me there. However I arrived at the Park early and noticed a small group of Chinese people practising some exercises

already, so I joined in. The instructor stopped and came over to me and explained quietly this was a form of Xinxing cultivation and had I done any of this kind of thing before? Yes, I nodded and continued to follow the movements. Then my friend arrived and he stood next to me and quietly said "WRONG GROUP". I had felt the energy come in immediately as soon as I started the exercises and I smiled and muttered under my breath "RIGHT GROUP". We noticed the Tai Chi huge number of people who shared the park – however they had swords and seemed quite militant compared to our peaceful powerful smaller group.

We were also invited to participate in the discussion and book reading group and enjoyed this immensely. As we were the only Westerners it took more time and much patience from our Chinese friends who did not once make us feel inferior or in the way at all.

Shortly after beginning the practice I had a Confirmation of the Power of Falun Dafa, which I would like to share with you.

Remarkable Confirmation Experience

I received confirmation of the power of Falun Dafa when I was a practitioner for only about one month, my partner and I were late leaving home to collect a lady for an appointment. On the way to her house, I sat in the back of our station wagon to clear some articles from the back seat to make room for her to sit, when we arrived at the house. I thought Grahame had stopped the car, so I opened the back door where I was sitting, and started to get out of the back of the car. I put my left foot on the ground. However, Grahame had not stopped the car and the car ran over my left foot and the back wheel came to a stop on top of my left foot.

Now when you practice Falun Dafa, you become very calm inside, so when this happened, my first reaction was NOT one of panic, I automatically tried to free my foot! Of course I could not move it! It was strange because I was not worried or concerned about it!! Very calmly, I quietly (in a normal voice) asked Grahame if he would please drive the car forward as it was on my foot!! Well now HE WAS NOT CALM and started to reprimand me in no uncertain manner! He was quite cross with me and angry that I always seemed to be in a hurry and I should wait until the car had stopped completely!! I had to repeat my request and said, "Grahame, it is quite OK, I'm OK, just move the car a little bit". I then got out of the car and walked up to the front door of the house to announce our arrival. I then walked back to the car and got in to have a look at my foot!!

Grahame was astonished and amazed. "You can walk on it. How is it?" Now I felt the pain, and I saw a huge lump about on inch rising up towards the heavens very quickly and filling with blood. Now Grahame was more alarmed, I had some Arnica cream in the car and as I gently applied the cream to the bruise I said to Grahame: "It's all right, Grahame. I made a mistake and I am the one who will pay for it, but it is not nearly as bad as it could have been THANK GOD FOR THE FALUN DAFA!" And with that statement the bruise and lump quickly disappeared before our eyes!!

I must tell you I was only wearing little high-heeled sandals with tiny straps over my foot, so my foot had no protection from the shoe at all.

I walked on my foot all day and it was a little uncomfortable reminder – but then the pain left me. I completely forgot about it until that evening, as we were going to bed, Grahame asked me, "How is your foot, shouldn't you put some more Arnica cream on it?" When I looked at my foot, I could not see any mark or sign of any bruise on my foot at all and no pain either. Thank you Master Li, I am convinced in the power of the Falun Dafa and would like to say how profoundly grateful I am to be accepted as part of the Falun Dafa family.

We have been welcomed and made to feel at home and very comfortable and treated as equals. All members have shown extreme patience with us Westerners. I was able to maintain a cheerful countenance while attending hospital everyday from 7am to 7pm for 3 months while my 82-year-old mother was in Rehabilitation Hospital following her breaking both legs a few weeks ago.

Our bodies know how to heal if we give our body and soul what it needs.

With most exercises in ordinary life you hurry through and are glad when they are over – a "time thing" – a routine. I find with Falun Dafa that I enjoy and am truly aware as I participate fully in each moment of awareness. When I am partway through the practice I have noticed my body gives a tiny involuntary sigh of contentment – it is most joyful as it happens of its own accord.

My life has taken on new meaning and there have been many changes for the better in all areas of my life since beginning the practice I feel Falun Dafa is a WAY OF LIFE and we are all part of a Universal family.

Over the years I have done a lot of Spiritual development and the FALUN Dafa books have described and explained many of these experiences. "When the pupil is ready the teacher appears." An old English saying.
