My name is Marius Herb, and I started practising Falun Gong a year ago.

Before I met Falun Gong, my life was controlled by bad deeds, and I was taking drugs. My body conditions were terrible, and people surrounding disliked my behaviour. Though all these told me that what I was doing was wrong, none of them had any actual effects on me. One night, I reached the judgement of life or death. I couldn't see anything with my flesh eyes, but I did see lots of things, which I don't wish to make any further explanations here. I then understood that those lives known by us are not limited within this dimension only. I wish that I could change myself.

After some time I got Master Li Hongzhi's book <<ZHUAN FALUN>>. While reading it, I understood what great power this book possesses, and how true its contents actually are. I could feel the boundless benevolence, and I returned to truthfulness from mistakes. I started taking actions once I realised this. But soon I was aware that those concepts and customs that I was trying to get rid of were much stronger than I had expected. At the beginning I couldn't resist the temptations, though I knew that some of the things were quite bad indeed. However, through my firm confidence and understanding, I became aware that Master Li will help us cultivators, as long as we change our concepts and wish to cultivate from the bottom of our hearts. I have been cultivating very firmly all the time.

I quit drinking and smoking, as well as other drugs. I now feel myself lighter than any time before. Because of this understanding, many barriers that seemed impossible to overcome at the beginning can now be overcome.

Before I started cultivation, my working environment wasn't very comfortable at all. On each Monday, I was thinking for the following weekend. None of the things I did was of my own free will. However, through reading <<ZHUAN FALUN>> over and over again, as well as practising the movements, my wisdom grew day after day. I keep discovering that the understanding which I thought was correct will soon be replaced by another one. Whilst when I try to seek mistakes to the outside, the resisting force will become stronger. This told me that I should look inwards for reasons from time to time. My work hasn't changed, but my concepts have. I understood that a complicated environment is good for ones cultivation. Now I help others whenever possible, and I can also keep calm when my colleagues get cross on me. I keep trying hard to rectify myself according to ZHEN-SHAN-REN (Truth-Compassion-Forbearance). All my family think that I had positive changes. Others think so as well, and even my girlfriend also believes firmly about the deep meanings of this book. She can be a mirror for me, because through her I see the power of the Great Law.

Until now all the problems that I have come across through my cultivation were answered through reading the book <<ZHUAN FALUN>> and other articles by the Master. I also believe that the problems I will meet later on can also be answered in this way. I hope that more people can obtain the Law, and return to their original true selves.
