Great Changes I have Experienced with Falun Dafa

Dear Friends,

I am very pleased to have this opportunity to be here with you, and to share with you my experiences since I got to know and started practicing Falun Dafa. I will speak in my own language - Spanish.

My life has not been too different from any other beings' on this earth, with the problems and changing circumstances manifested itself by greatly deteriorating my body and mind. In 1986, with 6 children, we left Chile of South America and traveled to Australia. Adaptation to a new environment was difficult and distressing. Now with my age of over half a century, my family separated. Gradually my physical and mental health deteriorated until I ended up with severe depression. I did not know how to help myself so as not to deteriorate further.

I remember specifically the end of January 1999, when I got the opportunity to make contact with Falun Dafa in Burwood Park. Since that day, I have been going to the park at dawn. My fellow practitioners helped me enormously in understanding the exercises, the readings and gave me assistance with my cultivation practice.

I would like to attribute my various internal changes to that precise moment. The practice made me feel the strength and the energy of this beautiful cultivation method, without my knowing why.

Every day at dawn I got to the park to do the gentle exercises and meditation. One evening per week, I go to the English discussion group to read Zhuan Falun, and in this way I can absorb the important message that Master Li has given us and has also put within the reach of every individual.

I never thought nor did I imagine that around every human being there is a continuous energy field of this universe, which can be felt and can be incorporated as a vital element into one's body. I felt this energy all over my body.

The effect can be seen in my physical appearance. My skin has become smoother and is now moist. My face is now much brighter and does not need any cream or vitamins. My face now appears clear as if the muscles have got stronger and more elastic. My eyes used to suffer from chronic dryness, which gave me the sensation that they were full of sand. They now do not require any more medicines and the pain irritation has disappeared. They now appear clear and bright. In my arms, legs, hands and feet, I no longer feel any arthritic pains, which are normal at my age due to hormonal changes. It had also caused the loss of my hair, cracked and brittle nails and receding gums. My cultivation practice also allows me to discontinue my appointment with the hospital for a hysterectomy, as I no longer feel the pain.

It is marvelous to see these details, which keep on getting better. Those who knew me before see it and say: "what's happening? You look very well and different." These things have occurred after a few days of practicing Falun Dafa.

The practice and continuous reading of this Law have helped me cope with a severe change in my life and helped me confront my day to day living with more harmony with other people.

With your permission, I would like to share with you a recent test experience. Last week was the last time that I had to present myself at the Burwood Court for my 2 years' case of domestic violence directed against me and my 12-year-old son by the father. It was a very tiring day, starting from 9am till the verdict at 5pm. It was resolved in favor of the other party. I was very embittered but I had a very calm and serene attitude in front of the glee of the other party.

I also put up with the unjust procedures of my sons acting against me. It was something unexplainable. But that force of the energy was felt within me, which I have got through my practice and reading of Falun Dafa. It was due to this that my mind and senses did not become unbalanced. I am confident that little by little I shall overcome this hard experience with the help of this wonderful cultivation method.

Finally I would like to send a message to the Latin community. I am grateful for having this opportunity to address you in my own language. I would like to tell you that the great benefits that human beings receive from this Law are immediate, real and simple to be seen by ordinary physical eyes. This energy that I have felt flows around me so close by and is so strong. Without knowing this beautiful cultivation method, which the Master has placed within our reach, we would never have known about this energy that revolves constantly and how to obtain it.

I would like to add that how lucky I am to be part of this great Falun Dafa family. I would also like to extend a warm greeting to the Burwood practitioners for helping me.

It is marvelous to be able to direct myself to my community and to show them the best of harmonious living between people without distinctions of race, ideologies or languages. I dream of my own country and South America and how much they need Falun Dafa. I look forward to the day when I can take this marvelous cultivation method to my family as they haven't heard about this due to the distance and language barrier. I would like to demonstrate to them how marvelous it is to live in this great family of Falun Dafa.
