Casandra D. Monroe

I like to think about problems in geometry and low-dimensional topology, and especially geometric structures on manifolds, such as hyperbolic structures on knot complements, and ways of deforming those structures, such as bending. I got my PhD at the University of Texas at Austin in 2025. My advisor was Jeffrey Danciger.

Starting Fall 2025, I am a Parekh IBL Research Assistant Professor at The University of Michigan with Dick Canary.

Here is my CV (as of May 2026).
