This is the beginning of my Ethnogram. These are
maps of Stolin, the shtetl where my grandmother
was born.

I am still searching for information about Stolin
- These 2 things I know:
- Most of the Jews living there during the time
of WWII (approximately 2,900) were killed in the Holocaust. It
also served as the local ghetto before the extermination began.
A Yizkor book was printed in Hebrew in Israel in 1952,
by an organization of survivors of Stolin. 1952 was the 10th
anniversary of the beginning of the massacres.
- It was partially affected by the nuclear accident
at Chernobyl.
This link will bring you to a page on Belarus
