Word Perfect 6.0 Speedo fonts from Mainstream.

Well I bit the bullet and ordered this set of Speedo fonts. It
seems that this is the only set that they do but is, as has
already been commented, a nice set. The only duplication with
the standard set is Vag Rounded.

The cost is 29.95 plus postage plus VAT (=37.40)

I ordered on Tuesday. They arrived on Wednesday.
The fonts are on three HIGH DENSITY disks. As well as .SPD files
there are also .TDF files. These are used by Word Perfect but
as far as I know they are not used by SpeedoGDOS. Installation
is merely by copying and then running Driver.PRG (or ACC).

Disk three of my set was faulty. I telephoned Mainstream and
they promised a replacement immediately without any quibble. It
arrived the following day.

After doing all this I was very anxious to see them. I built up
a Kandinsky GEM file with them all on.
I have uploaded a 200dpi IMG file of this for anyone who wants
to see for themselves. All text has been keyed in mixed case.
Where a font appears all in upper case it is an upper case font
only.

As for seeing bulk text on the screen I accidently discovered a
quick and neat way. I had downloaded "Macbeth" from texts/files
and was using the display facility of STZip when I heard the
characteristic ticking of fonts being loaded off the hard disk.
I had not noticed before the option to change fonts (double
click the right mouse a click the apropriate pop-up or
cntrl/C). There I had a decent amount of text which I could
easily and quickly switch from one font to another,
