Q & A - About Gymnastics and U-M

Why do you like doing gymnastics?   I love being able to do one of those flippy things as everyone calls them. Also the feeling you get after a great meet.
What is your favorite event or routine? Why?   Floor, it is just so much fun.

What attracted you to the University of Michigan?   The team as well as great academics and athletics.
What has been your most memorable gymnastics moment at Michigan?   Hanging out with the team… every minute of it is memorable.

What has been your biggest challenge/obstacle in gym or college (or both)? How did your overcome this challenge?   Getting my French book that was on back order.
What has been your most embarrassing moment in the gym (ever)?
What goes through your head immediately before a routine?   I think about what needs to be done and say a little prayer.

What advice would you share with up-and-coming Michigan gymnasts?   Go for your dreams! Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do something… but if they do… prove them wrong.
What is your favorite part of the gym meets?   Having fun while performing.
Other than Michigan, where is your favorite place to compete and why?   Minnesota in front of my “home crowd.”

What is the most interesting person that you've met at UM and why? (new 11/05!)   I have met so many unique and amazing people, I can't just choose one.
What is the worst exam that you've taken? (new 11/05!)   Chemistry.

My parents because they are two of the most determined people I have ever known.

Sleep is not essential.

Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks, but I would probably go crazy after
