Prayer Meetings Our prayer meetings are on Tuesday evenings at 8:00pm in the URC Basement. Time is spent singing and praying usually with a focus on a particular scripture chosen by the worship leader. This time also includes a sharing, testimony, or a short teaching on God's word as it applies to the lives of college students.

Lord's Day This event occurs once a month on a Saturday evening (check out our schedule!). It is a time for preparing ourselves for the celebration of the Lord's Day. This tradition originated in the Jewish practice of setting aside the Sabbath. A time of worship is included in the ceremony of spoken prayers. It is followed by a time of sharing. The celebration lasts about an hour. We end the evening with a social activity (i.e. bowling, movies, card games, etc.).

Our life in UCO has many unique opportunities for fun and for service. Annual events include: a men's tomato war against UCO-MSU, a women's retreat, our winter retreat and summer academy with other chapters of UCO. Other opportunities to serve include staffing high-school retreats (Jumpstarts and YES), and participation in programs such as mission trips, the Summer Internship Program and Detroit Summer Outreach. Many of these special events bring students from other UCO fellowships in the United States and all over the world.
